CHELSEA are preparing to take on Brazilian side Palmeiras in the Club World Cup quarter-finals.
Enzo Maresca’s side saw off Benfica 4-1 in the quarter-final, after the game had been delayed by nearly TWO hours.

Palmeiras beat fellow Brazilian outfit Botafogo 1-0 thanks to a Paulinho strike, with Estevao playing a crucial role in their victory.
The Brazilian prospect has picked up two Superior Player of the Match awards against Porto and Al Ahly.
Chelsea last won the Club World Cup in 2021, and are looking to cap off a season which saw them earn Champions League qualification and win the Conference League.
SunSport can reveal if Estevao can play against Chelsea in the Club World Cup.
Can Estevao play against Chelsea?
In short, yes – Estevao is not officially a Chelsea player yet, and as a result can play against them in the Club World Cup
The Blues completed a £29million deal for Estevao in the summer of 2024, with the fee potentially rising to £50m with add-ons.
The deal was set for the summer of 2025, with the Brazilian prospect set to join up with the Blues ahead of the 2025-26 season.
However, the Blues and Palmeiras have an agreement in place that keeps Estevao at the club throughout the Club World Cup – meaning he is their player until the tournament ends.
The Brazilian winger has said: “It’s really hard [to focus].
“[Going to Chelsea] is a dream come true, but knowing that I need to focus here first. It’s not easy.”
